Day 01 Chennai:
On board Chennai airport/railway station, you will be welcomed by our tour representative who will escort you to the cab. Board the cab and drive to the hotel. Chennai which was earlier called as Madras is the capital city of Tamil Nadu. This beautiful city is well known for the beaches. This city was established by the British during the 17th century. The Tamil film industry, known as Kollywood is based in this city. Check in hotel and later on proceed for the local tour of Chennai. Day 02 Chennai – Kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram
Morning after breakfast, drive to Mahabalipuram via Kanchipuram. Kanchipuram is popularly called as the city of thousand temples. It is one of the seven sacred cities in India. This beautiful city was earlier ruled by the Pallavas. Kanchipuram is well known for the silk sarees. The weavers use pure silk threads and at times use gold threads to weave few sarees. Later on proceed to Mahabalipuram. It is also called as Mamallapuram This city is said to be named after the Pallava King Mamalla. This beautiful city is classified to be the world heritage site by UNESCO. On arrival check in hotel and later on proceed for the local tour of the city. Day 03 Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry
Morning after breakfast, drive to Pondicherry – The French Riviera of the East. The remarkable existence of the French revolution in Pondicherry exists till date. The entire town is divided into 2 sections, namely the French Quarters and the Indian Quarters. The influence of the French is also visible in the layout of the city as the numbering of the houses is unique, that is all the even numbers are on one side an odd numbers on the other. Day 04 Pondicherry – Trichy

Day 05 Trichy – Thanjavur

Day 06 Thanjavur – Madurai

Day 07 Madurai
Morning after breakfast, proceed for the local tour of Madurai. Visit Madurai Meenakshi temple, dedicated to goddess Shakti or Meenakshi, Vandiyur Mariamman temple, the rock cut temples of Lord Subramanyam and other places of interest. Overnight, stay in the hotel.
Day 08 Madurai – Rameshwaram - Madurai
Morning after breakfast, drive out for an excursion to Rameshwaram. It is one of important pilgrimage center of the Hindus. It is a place where Lord Rama built a bridge to rescue his consort Sita. The Ranganatha swamy temple in Rameshwaram occupies a major area here. Visit the Ranganatha Swamy temple, Dhanushdi, Agnitheertham and other places of interest. Later on return back to Madurai for an overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 09 Madurai – Thekkady

Day 08 Thekkady – Munnar

Day 09 Munnar

Day 10 Munnar – Kumarakom

Day 11 Kumarakom – Cochin

Day 12 Cochin – Alleppey (Houseboat Cruise)
Morning after breakfast, drive to Alleppey. On arrival board the deluxe houseboat to enjoy the 22 hrs of backwater cruise of Kerala. These houseboats are called as Kettuvallam in Malayalam. These boats were earlier used as means of transport however is now of the famous tourist attraction. A ride on these houseboats explores the beauty of the backwaters of Kerala. The materials used in the construction of the houseboat are the coconut fibers, bamboo mats, carpets and other eco friendly materials. There is a special type of wood ‘Anjali’ which is used in the making of the houseboat. There is a room, kitchen, sit out area, dinning area in the houseboat. Day 13 Alleppey – Kovalam
Morning after breakfast, drive to Kovalam. It is on the famous beach destinations in Kerala. It is a beautiful beach town on the Arabian Sea. The word Kovalam means grove of coconut trees. Day 14 Kovalam:
Morning after breakfast, proceed for the local tour of Kovalam. Visit the beach, the museum, Padmanabhapuram palace, Kaudiar palace and other places of interest. Overnight, stay in the resort.
Day 15 Kovalam – Kanyakumari
Morning after breakfast, drive to Kanyakumari. On arrival check in hotel and later on proceed for the local tour of Kanyakumari. Visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Kumari Amman temple, Gandhi Memorial, etc. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 16 Kovalam – Trivanduram
