Day 01 Cochin
On board Cochin airport/railway station, you will be welcomed by our tour representative who will escort you the cab. Board the cab and enjoy the drive to Munnar. Day 02 Munnar
Morning after breakfast, drive out for the local tour of Munnar. Visit Devikulam, Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty lake and Mattupetty dam, Pothamedu, Echo point and other places of interest. Overnight, stay in the resort.
Day 03 Munnar – Thekkady
Morning after breakfast, drive to Thekkady. It is one of the famous wildlife destinations in Kerala. The very sound of Thekkady conjures the image of elephants. Thekkady is also called as Periyar. The Periyar wildlife sanctuary is considered to be one of the finest wildlife reserves in India. On arrival check in resort and later on proceed for the local tour of Thekkady. Visit the Periyar wildlife sanctuary and later on return back to the resort for an overnight stay.
Day 04 Thekkady – Kumarakom
Morning after breakfast, drive to Kumarakom. It is one of the finest backwater destinations in Kerala. The never ending paddy fields, the coconut palms, the backwaters and the calmness attract the tourist from all over. It is situated on the shores of the Vembanad Lake. On arrival check in resort and later on proceed for the local tour of Kumarakom. Visit the Kumarakom bird sanctuary. Overnight, stay in the resort.
Day 05 Kumarakom – Alleppey (Houseboat Cruise)
Morning after breakfast, board the deluxe houseboat to enjoy the 22 hrs of backwater cruise of Kerala. These houseboats are called as Kettuvallam in Malayalam. These boats were earlier used as means of transport however is now of the famous tourist attraction. A ride on these houseboats explores the beauty of the backwaters of Kerala. The materials used in the construction of the houseboat are the coconut fibers, bamboo mats, carpets and other eco friendly materials. There is a special type of wood ‘Anjali’ which is used in the making of the houseboat.
There is a room, kitchen, sit out area, dinning area in the houseboat. The houseboat comprises of a boatman, a cook and an oarsman. Overnight, stay in the houseboat.
Day 06 Alleppey - Kovalam
Morning after breakfast, check out of the houseboat at 09:30 am. Board the cab and drive to Kovalam. It is on the famous beach destinations in Kerala. It is a beautiful beach town on the Arabian Sea. The word Kovalam means grove of coconut trees. This destination was earlier a famous fishing centre however is now one of the famous tourist destinations in South India. The beach is divided into three parts – the larger beach is called as the Light house, the second largest called as the Hawa beach and the last called as the Samudra beach. On arrival check in resort and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight, stay in the resort.
Day 07 Kovalam:
Morning after breakfast, proceed for the local tour of Kovalam. Visit the beach, the museum, Padmanabhapuram palace, Kaudiar palace and other places of interest. Overnight, stay in the resort.
Day 08 Kovalam – Trivanduram
Morning after breakfast, drive to Trivanduram airport/railway station to proceed towards your onwards destination.
